Her mind raced, desperate for reason/understanding/clarity amidst the growing terror. Then, a sudden wrench/jerk/pull on something around her neck, cutting off her air/breath/oxygen. She was fighting/struggling/battling, but against what? Against whom? The world dissolved into a blurry chaos of pain and fear before she finally awoke, gasping/coughing/shuddering, the lingering taste of terror heavy on her tongue.

Silent Suffocation, a Voice from Darkness

It starts as a subtle squeeze on your chest. You attempt to breathe, but each suck of breath is met with a resistance. The world around you blurs into a hazy nothingness, and your eyesight dims.

You plead for rescue, but your voice are trapped within the enclosing darkness.

Your pulse increases in a futile attempt to deliver oxygen to your body. But the constraint only tightens, sucking you deeper into the darkness.

You are abandoned, smothered in a sea of your own fear.

The only sound is the drone of your internal breath. The world around you disappears, leaving you in the cold, stark embrace of death.
